Nick Hakim has dropped his beautiful new psychedelic soul track, ‘Feeling Myself’. It takes clear influence from Iggy Pop and David Bowie’s collaborative album, The Idiot, in its unique sound. It’s a confident track that allows Hakim to start wandering in a new direction with his music. “I've never really written anything that's like that in terms of the personas,” he says on the new single. “Where I'm coming from is always conversational like I'm talking to someone… I’m being nice to myself and the energy boosting around is confidence and loving yourself in a way that you haven't really felt in a long time.” This track is taken from his upcoming album, COMETA, which is due for release on October 18th, 2022.
